Have you tried every thickening shampoo and treatment on the market in attempt to boost your roots a bit higher? Or maybe your hair just refuses to grow past the shoulder mark and you find yourself staring enviously at strangers, wishing you had anyone's hair but your own.

Unlike bonds or microlinks, where dozens of little rings attach to small strands of your hair, these tapes sandwich themselves between a larger section of your roots – making it a safer option if your hair is prone to breakage. Since they lie flat on your scalp, they're also undetectable, even in an up-do.

Emeda's tape hair extensions all use USA blue glue.If you take care of the hair, you can get it re-taped for a long time before it needs replacing. Remember to go in for regular maintenance visits every 2-3 months though, to make sure the tapes are securely in place.

Keep your tapes in place for longer:
Use a hair brush specifically designed for extensions, with soft bristles, and don't pull too hard when brushing.
Make sure you get your tapes refitted regularly to avoid the hair at your roots matting.
Sleep with your hair tied back in a low ponytail or braid. This will make it less knotty, and easier to brush without pulling.
Keep your hair conditioned with regular moisturising treatments, and try and limit hair washing to three times a week.
